Robot Gentleman, a young game studio founded in 2012 by industry veterans, unveiled their latest creation 60 Seconds, a black comedy game set in the 1950s, and announced its forthcoming release for multiple platforms.
In the cold war era, the story premise of 60 Seconds is the nuclear emergency. Before the exchange of atomic bombs, the early warning system gives Ted, a hard-working family guy, 60 seconds to grab his family and important supplies as many as possible before entering the fallout shelter under his house.
After safely taking cover underneath, Ted faces the real challenge, survival with limited supplies for as long as possible. There will be hard decisions to make when the supplies are running out while all family members are starving. And there will be hard times to make through, say, an emergent mutant cockroach infestation threats in the little niche.
With the harsh survival, 60 Seconds will inevitably involve certain strategies during the supplies-grabbing procedure in the prior. Players need to grab as many supplies as they can but not randomly any items. In the rush they also need to pay attention to the helpful tips from emergency broadcasts. A solid preparation will buffer the hardship in the following to a great extent.
60 Seconds will probably come out in the end of 2014. And if that is missed, it will arrive in the start of 2015. Based on the developers, its first target platform is Android, but it will soon come to iOS, WP8, PC, Linux and Mac as well.
