Back in September Orange Pixel presented the debut trailer for Gunslugs 2 and revealed a planned release in October. As this month is about to end, the developers are not delivering this arcade platformer as scheduled but launches a new tease trailer and a notice about the delayed release.
The new trailer shows some of the new effects and teases the newly added Avalon level with new enemies, minion and boss, in it. Compared to the first trailer, Gunslugs 2 looks neater with improved graphics. And the glimpse of the Avalon level seems fun and exciting.
A sequel to Gunslugs in 2013, Gunslugs 2 will feature the platforming action of the same cast of gunslugs against the Black Duck army that is cooking up new evil plans. The pixel artwork, intense action and a blend of elements from movies and other pop-art will be maintained, while the whole game will be better and richer than the original. It is “the biggest” product of Orange Pixel to date.
Gunslugs 2 was about eighty percent complete last month and is now ten percent advance, according to the developer. And the new release schedule is set in January of next year. When it is done, it will be on PC/Mac/Linux and Android/iOS. You can head to its official game site to get more information and preview the screenshots.
