Supercell has been brought in new contents continuously for its mega-hit tower offense Clash of Clans since its launch on the mobile. A couple of days ago, the developer released a new update that introduced a brand new Dark Barracks troop and increased the level caps of several buildings alongside the improvements.
First of all, a brand new troop named Lava Hound arrived at the Dark Barracks. It is a flying unit adept at hunting Air Defenses. It is not only able to take tons of damage but also has the special ability to erupting into multiple smaller units once it is broken.
Another big change in this update is more new levels for units and buildings. Barbarian and Archer can now be upgraded to Lv. 7, with Archer Tower and Dark Barracks’ highest level brought to Lv. 13 and Lv. 6 respectively.
Along with new contents, the developers also addressed the balancing issue and further improved the interface in Clash of Clans.
Players can spend Elixir other than Gold solely on leveling up full rows of walls at once with this patch, and heal heroes and/or train Valkyrie much faster. They can also heal bigger groups of units using the same healing troops. What’s more, players can see the attacking army in Replays, pause it or even see the time remaining if online.
