The Journey Down: Chapter Two has finally arrived at the App Store. It is time to resume the Afro-Caribbean adventure for those who have long completed the first chapter. It has been more than a year since this journey started. And the time to descend deeper has come.
For those not familiar with the game, The Journey Down is a classic point-n-click adventure filled with intriguing puzzles. It tells the story of Bwana and his trusted sidekick Kito were dragged from their life in metropolis and thrown into an unexpected journey to uncover the true destiny of their long lost father, Captain Kaonandodo.
The first chapter sees the young men embark on the journey in search for the mysterious Underland far below the city. In the second chapter, they will go further into the mist below the Edge and reach the foggy and treacherous town of Port Artue to find themselves in great danger. They discover a dark conspiracy shrouding their father and they are chased by pirates and on the run from the law.
The Journey Down features hand-drawn graphics, myriads of puzzles and full voice acting and original jazz noir soundtrack, knit tightly into a twisting tale of adventure. And according to the developers, this journey includes a total of four chapters, with still two forthcoming to make a complete adventure.
Besides, it is also an ideal time for those who haven’t to start this exciting puzzle adventure from the very beginning. It is not only because the second chapter enriches the content but also because The Journey Down: Chapter One goes FREE this week in celebration of the release of the second chapter.
The Journey Down: Chapter Two comes as a separate app and is available to purchase for $4.99 on the App Store.
