The rock band Avenged Sevenfold revealed their first mobile game called Hail to the King: Deathbat about a month ago. Now the band and the developer presents a new game trailer and announces the final release date for this fantasy action RPG – it will be hitting the App Store and Google Play on October 16, 2014.
Hail to the King: Deathbat is a challenging action RPG that is featured with imagery of the band but intentionally designed to be a fun and hardcore title appealing to fans never heard of the band.
As suggested from the title, Hail to the King tells the story of a revived king Deathbat on the tough mission to defeat the wicked Dark Andronikos and reclaim the lost lands. Players in the game will play the heroic role to explore a hostile world, learn new skills & magic and gather new weapons to grow more powerful. There will be 7 unique worlds to explore, countless enemies to defeat and a bundle of achievements to score. And a Nightmare mode is ready to fall the strongest warrior.
A band-made game, Hail to the King certainly has a bearing with its creators. The in-game worlds are based on the discography of the Avenged Sevenfold, and a heavy metal theme sets the tone of the gameplay including 8 new theme songs from the band plus some old classics, which will give the hardcore battle an extra boost.
Hail to the King: Deathbat is releasing on the App Store and Google Play on October 16. It will be a fully-priced premium title, with no in-app purchase.
