Japanese developer Nude Maker Inc. have unveiled a brand new horror game franchise titled Project Scissors, which is currently under development and scheduled to come into iOS, Android as well as PS Vita.
Project Scissors is, according to the developer, inspired by the classic survival horror game Clock Tower launched 20 years ago. That is not surprising since Nude Maker is now lead by Hifumi Kouno, the original developer of Clock Tower.
The story premise of the new horror game is set in a luxurious cruise liner. While the voyage seems smooth, a series of gruesome and mysterious murders strike fear into the hearts of passengers. Because some ship crew are killed, the ship is “crippled and adrift at sea and has become an inescapable trap for the passengers”. The player as a passenger aboard will have to solve the mysterious cases and save him/her-self and all other innocent.
The aim of the developer is “to deliver the ultimate horror game experience by transporting players into a virtual world of primal fear, suspense and mystery”. There is no word on the release date, since the development of Project Scissors has just begun. [Official Site]
