2K announced that they are bringing their ice hockey sports simulator franchise NHL 2K back to the mobile gaming sometime this autumn. Instead of a typical NHL 2K installment with a year tied in the title, this new entry will be simply named NHL 2K. So probably it will be a lasting game with regularly updates?
According to 2K, this new title will feature improved graphics and new features like a My Career mode, joining the classic game modes of the ice hockey sports including NHL Winter Classic, Free Skate and Shootout. And there will be a brand new fast-paced 3 vs. 3 challenges that pit players against each other in turn-based shootouts. That will be the first ever multiplayer competition of this franchise on mobile. Moreover, the developers mentioned regular live roster updates to NHL 2K, which will allow players to unlock new members and customize their team.
Besides, the game will support MFi Controller and integrate NHL GameCenter LIVE connectivity and iCloud.
NHL 2K will be coming out with a price tag of $7.99 on the App Store, Google Play Store and Amazon AppStore this fall. Visit the developer’s site to follow the game.
