We first heard of Partyrs by solo developer Shelly Alon in early August this year. And now we get the confirmed launch date for this casual fun party-theme puzzler – it will be coming out next week, on October 10 on iPhone and iPad.
For players not familiar with this game, Partyrs is a casual game that puts you into the place of a party host and tasks you to keep everyone present happy. Those that come to the party are of diverse species ranging from aliens to animals amongst humans. And their needs are as bizarre. The music-loving alien may want to play guitar, while the giraffe may be attracted by a charging battery. Whatever it is, you must meet their needs.
The goal is to give everyone what they desire. And that involves the complicated re-arrangement of their positions on the invisible grid. Since one switch will inevitably lead to changes of another, it requires certain strategies.
Partyrs features a hand-drawn world with a simple and cartoony art style. It is supposed to be a premium title with the pricing not revealed yet. It is designed for casual players. Partyrs is scheduled to release on iOS on Oct. 10.
