Backflip Studios have soft-launched their new seafaring adventure game Seabeard created by the maker of the Rolando series on the App Store of Canada, Mexico and Netherlands. If you have an iTune account of any of the three areas, you can now become a self-appointed captain hoisting the sails to look for fortune and fun at the sea and on the land.
Seabeard is in the same vein with Animal Crossing. It offers a colorful and vast world where you as captain can recruit crew and simply do a lot of stuff with them – set sails to fight sea monsters, delve into the dungeon, rebuilt your own kingdom, help folks in the town solve tricky problems, capture pets and amass wealth in trading, and so on and so forth.
The game is in the casual end but prepares seriously abundant contents to keep the gameplay immersive and rich. And its cartoony art style and delightful soundtracks add a happy feel to it.
You can get Seabeard without spending a dime. That means, you will see the timer, exclusive items and other in-app purchases in the package as well. With two in-game currencies, you will be able to pay for a faster and more comfy experience with real money.
Seabeard is now available in Canada, Mexico and Netherlands as soft-launch for free. [Canadian App Store Link]
