Secret Exit are launching their latest ragdoll destruction simulation game Turbo Dismount on iPhone and iPad this Thursday, on September 25. A sequel to Stair Dismount [Free] by the same developer, Turbo Dismount is a better and larger game. It maintains the silly, crazy and super-fun destruction sim on the core but shifts away from the push-people-down-stairs pattern. It seeks greater damage with dangerous rides, as implied in its title.
The social elements stay with the follow-up. Specifically, players can give the in-game ragdolls a familiar face by using their own or their friends’ photos. Due to the instant replay feature, players can also share the crazy and sadistic moments of destruction with friends whose face they borrow.
The gameplay is easy to pick up. After creating a character, players will select a vehicle, then one or more obstacles to place on the course and a normal or weird pose, and then hit the Dismount button to go. What’s followed will be the expected crushing, hurting and destroying process, usually in an unexpected style. Based on the severity of destruction and chaos it caused, there will be scores.
Turbo Dismount offers loads of vehicles, obstacles and poses for players to choose from. And the willful combination of them will generate never-the-same effects. Let the ragdoll stand on a child tricycle, sit on top of a delivery van or hang around a ranger – the crushing experience will be a world of difference. Let alone with those obstacles. And the distinct environments of levels even make the ride crazier.
Turbo Dismount will be hitting the App Store this Thursday or earlier in some zones. It will be a free-to-play title with in-app purchase, but it will also offer the premium option ($5.99) for players who want to rid the ads and access all levels instantly, just like its predecessor. Players who’d like to know more about it can visit the official game site. It also has a PC version that is available now on Steam.
