Luderia revealed a trailer for its one-button shooter Spooklands and announced its launch date to be August 21 earlier this month. Now the promise is delivered in time. Spooklands just hit the New Zealand App Store and will become available globally this Thursday.
Spooklands is an addictive survival shooter that features one-finger touch-controls. Players tap to fire at enemies, regardless of the weapon, and simultaneously sent back by the recoil into the opposing direction. Besides tapping to deal normal attack, players can also hold to charge a powerful shot and unleash the special assault that may explode, multiply or pierce on contact.
The game features three infinite levels varying with backdrops, monsters and bosses and so on. From the Curupira to spiders to goat demons, a rich variety of creepy creatures and bosses will come in waves cornering players and inflicting varied horror.
Players have what it takes to beat enemies down. There are different weapons that can be equipped and good power-ups to unlock. It is fun to immerse in the intense and fast-paced battle as well as the cool soundtracks, and it is more fun to fight the battle with some unusual weapons like giant boots and a heavy fist.
Spooklands is now available on the New Zealand App Store with a price of $1.29, equivalent to $0.99 USD.
