The Voxel Agents announced Train Conductor 3, the third installment of their train conducting series, is under development now with a scheduled release on mobile in 2015. It has been four years around since their Train Conductor 2: USA entered the gaming market. And this new comer on the track looks promising and gorgeous at least from the screenshot below.
Train Conductor 3 will still task you with the mission to become a good train conductor. While the basics are still about building tracks and coordinating trains for smooth delivery, the new game will be more fun and challenging than its predecessors. The developers are creating it from the ground up and for the modern devices. That means it will be “the best looking train game on mobile” with up-to-date graphics.
What is noticeably different in Train Conductor 3 are curved tracks. Based on the contours of the landscape at every location, you will be able to create hills, loops and tunnels, etc.. Along with the complicate track designs, it requires careful plans and strategic coordination of trains to avoid collision. And the in-game locations will be diverse. You can make tracks in the snowy alpine mountains, connect your system with the tube in Paris, or expand to the Venice cannals. And it seems that there will be day-and-night cycle in the game.
Train Conductor 3 is coming to mobile in 2015, without a set release date. Players who will attend PAX Australia about a week later can get an early hands-on with it. You can find more info and screenshots on the official site.
